E.Novation has a proven record of implementing successful PACS and Clinical Document Integration and sharing projects based on the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) international XDS standard. We offer configurable, scalable software components that help customers and partners establish an open environment where information systems create, share and manage clinical documents and images both within and across disparate healthcare settings.

The XDS profile is a secure, generic framework to publish, register, query and retrieve standardised clinical information.

Working with our partners Forcare, the solution complements existing clinical information systems with the ability to view documents and images from a variety of sources - not limited to one specific institution or document type. A central registry keeps track of meta data for all documents and images which are to be shared. This way a patient centric reference index is created but clinical information remains at the source system thus preventing duplication.

Document access is via web based viewer that is easily integrated into existing systems allowing clinicians access to documents and images registered in the index.
